She’s been a radical rockstar in the international feminist movement, but now she’s announced that pro-life is her position when it comes to abortion and the rights of the unborn. Not only that, but this outspoken activist says she wants something from Christians — something that not long ago she would never have sought — forgiveness.

Sara Fernanda Giromin made a name for herself in Brazil when she founded Femen Brazil, a radical feminist organization that holds topless protests. Giromin not only led other women in several events to expose their political point of view, but she also staged protests specifically targeting Christians. Now, according to Life Site News, she recently apologized for aborting her first child.

“I have repented of having had an abortion and today I ask for forgiveness,” Giromin reportedly wrote in a recent post. “Yesterday marked one month after the birth of my baby and my life has taken on a new meaning. I’m writing this while he sleeps serenely on my lap. It is the greatest sensation in the world.”

She also implored women not to rush into an abortion. “Please, women who are desperate to abort, think carefully about it. I was very sorry I did it. I don’t want the same for you.”

Since making those comments, Giromin has continued down the path leading away from her previous actions, showing a “disillusionment with feminism and gender ideology.”

“Asking for forgiveness is certainly not an easy thing to do,” admitted Giromin  “We went way too far and ended up offending many religious and non-religious people.”

While she founded two feminist groups, today she wants nothing to do with the movement.

“For the feminist sect women are not the inspiration, they are prime matter in the worst sense of the term. They are convenient objects useful for the purpose of inflaming hatred against the Christian religion, hatred against men, hatred against the beauty of women, hatred against the equilibrium of families. That’s what feminism is, and I can guarantee it is like that because I was on the inside!”

The one-time activist continued, saying, ““I saw the feminist movement cover up for PEDOPHILES. I saw the feminist movement PERSECUTE WOMEN … I am a witness to the fact that today in the feminist movement women are not of any importance but serve as fuel for the fires of hatred that the feminist sect cannot allow to die.”
